The Sunset Ride is suitable for riders who already know how to ride a bicycle confidently and independently. You must be comfortable controlling a bike and riding on urban roads where cars, motorcycles and other vehicles may be present.

No previous e-bike experience is required. However, previous bicycle riding experience is required. You must be comfortable riding on public roads and around traffic. Our OUDAD Ride Leader will explain how to use the ENGWE e-bike before departure.

Please arrive at 5:15 PM, 15 minutes before departure. This gives us enough time for check-in, bike adjustment and the safety briefing.

The Sunset Ride currently departs at 5:30 PM. Departure times may change throughout the year to follow Rabat’s seasonal sunset times. Please check the departure time shown for your selected date when booking.

The experience lasts approximately 2 hours, including riding time, scenic viewpoints and photo stops.

The route takes you through some of Rabat’s most scenic areas, combining the Atlantic coastline, waterfront and selected city landmarks. The exact route may be adapted depending on traffic, weather, road conditions and sunset time.

The exact distance may vary depending on the route and conditions. The Sunset Ride is designed as a relaxed sightseeing experience rather than a cycling workout.

The price includes your ENGWE EP-2 Pro electric bike, OUDAD Ride Leader, helmet, reflective safety vest, bottled water, pre-ride safety briefing, e-bike introduction, planned route, selected photo stops and on-route assistance.

Wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes suitable for cycling. Depending on the season, we also recommend bringing a light jacket as temperatures can become cooler after sunset.

You don't need a high level of physical fitness because the e-bike provides electric assistance. However, you must have good bicycle-riding skills, be able to control the bike independently and feel comfortable riding on urban roads with traffic.

Yes. Solo travellers are welcome to book and join one of our scheduled group rides. The ride operates once the minimum number of participants required for the departure is reached.

Yes. The Sunset Ride is designed as a small-group social experience and is ideal for couples, friends and solo travellers who want to discover Rabat by e-bike around sunset.

The maximum group size is 7 riders. Keeping groups small allows us to provide a safer, more personal and enjoyable experience.

Safety comes first. If weather or road conditions are unsuitable for safe riding, OUDAD Bikes may adjust the route, change the departure time, postpone or reschedule the experience.

The minimum age to participate is 18 years old. All participants must also be able to ride and control a bicycle confidently and independently.

The Sunset Ride starts and finishes at the OUDAD Bikes Station in Océan, Rabat. Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled departure.

Yes. A safety helmet and reflective safety vest are provided to every participant. Wearing the required safety equipment during the ride is mandatory.

The experience continues as Rabat transitions from sunset into the evening. Our ENGWE e-bikes are equipped with lights, and the group continues together under the guidance of the OUDAD Ride Leader before returning to the OUDAD Bikes Station.

Yes. Some sections of the Sunset Ride take place on public urban roads shared with cars, motorcycles and other vehicles. Participants must be confident cyclists and comfortable riding in traffic. Everyone must follow the Ride Leader’s instructions and respect local traffic rules at all times.
