The Night Ride is designed with safety as a priority. Riders are accompanied by an OUDAD Ride Leader and provided with a helmet and reflective safety vest, while the e-bikes are equipped with lights. However, parts of the route take place on public roads shared with cars, motorcycles and other vehicles. Participants must be confident cyclists and follow the Ride Leader’s instructions and local traffic rules at all times.

No previous e-bike experience is required. However, good bicycle-riding experience is required. You must be able to control a bicycle confidently and independently and be comfortable riding at night on urban roads with traffic. Your Ride Leader will explain how to use the ENGWE e-bike before departure.

Please meet us at 8:00 PM at OUDAD Bikes Station in Océan. This allows time for check-in, bike setup, equipment and the safety briefing before departure.

The Night Ride departs at approximately 8:15 PM.

Approximately 3 hours, including riding time, sightseeing, short breaks and selected photo stops.

The route takes you through some of Rabat’s most iconic areas, including Bab El Had, the Medina, Mohammed V Avenue, Chellah, the Hassan Minaret, Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Bouregreg waterfront, Marina and the Kasbah of the Oudayas.

The exact route may be adapted depending on traffic, weather, road conditions or local restrictions.

The BBQ stop is an optional addition near the end of the Night Ride. Guests who wish to join can enjoy a freshly grilled local sandwich at one of our neighborhood BBQ spots in Océan.

No. The BBQ is optional and not included in the 350 MAD Night Ride price. Sandwiches generally cost approximately 30–50 MAD per person, depending on your choice.

The 350 MAD per person price includes your ENGWE EP-2 Pro electric bike, OUDAD Ride Leader, helmet, reflective safety vest, bottled water, pre-ride safety briefing, e-bike introduction, planned route, selected photo stops and on-route assistance.

The Night Ride has a moderate difficulty level of 3/5.

Electric assistance makes pedaling easier, but this experience is not suitable for beginner cyclists. Participants must already be confident riding a bicycle and comfortable riding at night on urban roads shared with cars, motorcycles and other vehicles.

Good bike control, awareness and confidence in traffic are essential.

Yes. Solo travellers are welcome to book and join a scheduled group departure. The ride operates once the minimum number of participants required for that departure is reached.

The maximum group size is 7 riders. Small groups make it easier to keep the group together and provide a more personal experience.

Wear comfortable clothing and closed shoes suitable for cycling. Depending on the season, we recommend bringing a light jacket for the later part of the evening. Avoid clothing that could interfere with the bicycle.

Safety comes first. If weather or road conditions are unsuitable for riding, OUDAD Bikes may modify the route, delay, postpone or reschedule the experience.

The minimum age is 18 years old. Age alone does not determine eligibility: every participant must also have sufficient cycling experience and be confident riding in urban traffic.

The experience starts and finishes at OUDAD Bikes Station in the Océan neighborhood of Rabat.

Yes. The ENGWE e-bikes are equipped with lights for nighttime riding. Participants are also provided with reflective safety vests for increased visibility.

Yes. Both the helmet and reflective safety vest are mandatory during the Night Ride. Participants must also follow the Ride Leader’s safety instructions throughout the experience.

No. Tips for your OUDAD Ride Leader are not included and are entirely optional.

Yes. Participants who choose the optional BBQ stop may purchase additional food or drinks directly at the venue.

Please be at OUDAD Bikes Station at 8:00 PM. The group is scheduled to depart at approximately 8:15 PM after the safety briefing and bike setup. To avoid delaying the other participants, we cannot guarantee that late arrivals will be able to join once the group has departed.

Bring comfortable cycling clothes, closed shoes and your phone or camera if you would like to take photos. A light jacket may be useful depending on the season. We also recommend bringing a small amount of cash or another accepted payment method if you would like to purchase food or drinks during the optional BBQ stop.
